This course was fantastic. The individual sections along with the forums were all so helpful!

Very easy to use, nice clear and explained videos that make following the build of models easy and manageable.

Lots of great exposure to excel in the RE modeling context. Still need repetition to internalize all the concepts.

It was a good experience. Sometimes it was difficult to balance completing the modules with simultaneous learning. I think maybe lessons before cases would be more beneficial than just cases that you complete as part of the curriculum.

Absolutely loved doing the accelerator and I am sad that it has come to an end but I am excited to be putting these new skills to the test and using A.CRE to further my learning. Coming from the brokerage world, I now feel more well-rounded as a real estate professional. Thank you guys so much.

Amazing! I learned everything I need to know from an underwriting standpoint to make the jump into the principal side of the business.

Amazing. Learned much more about the different sides/parties of the real estate deal in addition to modeling. The videos were clear and helpful. The format couldn't have been better. I started this after having worked as an analyst for a large bank and working with our models for 2 years so I had a basic understanding of how the pieces fit together. The Accelerator helped me develop a much broader understanding of real estate modeling outside of my job's view of debt and underwriting to a bank case NOI and it stops there. The Accelerator also helped to fill in knowledge gaps in real estate I had which is invaluable for working with our clients and understanding their perspective.

The course was very easy to follow and the broke down the concepts into manageable pieces.

This program was great! If I had a little more time I think I could have retained more but that has nothing to do with yalls program.

I enjoyed completing the A.CRE Accelerator course. It is well designed and very helpful. Since I had experience working in PERE, I could easily understand the concepts and applications. It may be a little difficult for someone with little to no experience to understand some of the steps. I am looking forward to enrolling for the advanced modeling skills once I am more confident in the concepts taught in A.CRE Accelerator. Thank you Spencer and Michael for this course. It is going to be very helpful for me to land a good job in this field!

It took a lot longer than I thought it would be was very detailed and high level. The video walk throughs are extremely helpful and thorough and the case assignments feel like they are truly real world exercises which is great practice.

Hard to model out from scratch as every format was different. No pointers prior to starting model

It was positive. Its a very thorough program and it mimics real life in the industry closer than anything Ive found.

It was verygood. Everyone is responsive and helpful. TBH there are a few times, especially toward the end and the capstone classes, where the watch me build videos felt as if they were done in an answer vs the process manner. They are thorough and solve for the quiz but they aren't dynamic in its approach.

Fantastic. I wish this existed when I first entered the industry. You've done a fantastic job of capturing some of the more nuanced, complicated aspects of financial modeling within the real estate industry. You've figure out how to cut significant time off the learning curve to some of the more complex tasks of the job.

I thought the course was incredible, especially as a beginner to the world of Real Estate. I came in with simple financial knowledge and no excel experience but I never felt lost. Overall, it was exactly what I was looking for. Money well spent!

Very helpful. Being able to rewind when I missed something was very beneficial.

My experience was very positive. I learned a lot about not only financial modeling but also income statements and different types of leases. The only thing I wish had been different was the pace at which some of the lessons were taught.

Comprehensive and in-depth; loved the level of detail provided for each real estate asset class particularly about modeling their leases and income statements. Also, starting from the "War Room" was very informative.

It was a good learning experience. Though I have learned several real estate models, the course helps me with modeling other real estate asset classes and walks me through clear steps to do waterfall cash flow.

I really enjoyed the curriculum and thought the videos did a great job of walking through the processes

I had a very good experience. I found the videos easy to follow along with and the instructors to be very engaging. I learned a lot about financial modeling, as well as real estate in general.

Excellent - I've been in real estate investment banking for 12 years, and this is the most comprehensive course I've seen.

Great experience, particularly due to the practice-based format. The program is valuable and, as a student, it definetely helped me in mastering modeling and excel skills and approach real world scenarios. I would have appreciated more exercises on debt and partnership sides rather than IS since they are the parts where my academic studies lacked the most.

It was exceptionally thorough and was certainly useful during school while studying Real Estate. I also found all the information I learned to be beneficial through my internship this summer. However, I feel like I would have gotten more out of the accelerator had I done it consecutively instead of taking breaks... I also wish there was more notes explaining the intricacies of each of the formulas used instead of just hearing it through the video. Otherwise, I had an exceptional experience with this Program. Highly recommended.

Easy to follow. Loved the framework around Investment/Operating/Reversion cash flows as well as modeling development costs.

My experience in the A.CRE Accelerator has been very valuable. The program provided a strong, hands-on foundation in real estate financial modeling, from acquisitions to development. I particularly appreciated the case-based approach, which helped me understand how assumptions flow through a model and impact returns. It has significantly improved my Excel modeling skills and my confidence in underwriting real estate deals.

The examples and templates used by real world PE and Institutional Real Estate Investors were very helpful. Would reccomend the course.

This was great experience going through the A.CRE Accelerator course. I was able to go through the course at my own speed and review sections as needed to improve my understanding. The course was carefully designed to provide a ton of knowledge in just 16 courses. I really appreciate the time and effort, and fantastic instruction by Spence Burton and Michael Belasco. Invaluable, I was already confident in my modeling abilities going into the accelerator, but now I am much more agile working in Excel, and feel my formatting has taken a big step up as well. I start my first job in the CRE industry in a week and have full confidence I will be well equipped to tackle any deal that is thrown my way

The course is good for a complete beginner. I wished when I first started RE I would have used this course.

An extremely user-friendly method of gaining a quick, comprehensive view of Excel modeling

I found the courses themselves to be informative and good at walking through step by step. My experience was likely hampered by not working through the courses at a equalized pace. I worked in spurts and that was harder to maintain consistency. There was a lot of information to cover. I would also recommend to future participants to do the mastering excel course first, then the accelerator. I would say that I am average or above on use of excel and there were lots of short form codes used that i couldn't get my excel to work with. So i found jumping around on the sheet much harder than the person leading the coursework. Specifically in the modeling of long term leases.

A huge head start for someone starting out in CRE, gave me the tools that I can use to start my career/ Grow my career.

It was great! I struggled to retain the information as time went on because there was so much information, but it was helpful to be able to refer back to the definitions and videos along the way.

Overall, I feel like I learned a ton about Commercial Real Estate while also being able to improve skills in Excel as well. Very pleasant experience, definitely something I will recommend to others in the future.

My experience in the A.CRE Accelerator was incredibly valuable. What stood out most was the real-world applicability. The exercises being mirrored to what analysts and associates actually do on the job helps bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical execution. Overall, the program has given me confidence and a solid foundation for real estate financial modeling.

I found the experience very helpful for not only modeling, but also understanding CRE more. I feel this course if very good for a beginner to start and end up feeling experienced.

Great stuff. I liked it better than the Masters in Real Estate Program I took a few years ago.

Fantastic. I feel way more competent now. At the very least, I'm massively quicker in Excel, which is super valuable in itself. I'm in the process of starting my own residential infill development firm in Utah, and this has been huge. I come from a home building background, so my exposure to modeling has been less sophisticated, so A.CRE definitely helped me level up. A ton of people in my network have all heard of A.CRE, so I'm proud to be able to say that I did the class.

I would say that if you are looking to learn Excel based on this accelerator, then you should at least practice Excel beforehand to keep up with what's going on in the accelerator. It definitely hones your skills when it comes to modeling real estate developments, acquisitions, etc. I would recommend for analysts who are in need of proficiency.

A.CRE Accelerator provides a comprehensive set of materials that takes a student like myself through what is not taught in a regular MBA class. The program gets me up to speed on modeling and the fundamentals that drive each real estate deal. Both Spencer and Michael are phenomenal practitioners who excel at their craft and pass on the knowledge to those who are interested in real estate modeling.
